($95,000 base + 10% Bonus) Sr. Property Accountant


Our client is looking for an experienced commercial Sr. Property Accountant who is an experienced commercial real estate property accountant who maintains accurate books, records, and financial reports for a mixed-use portfolio of operating properties.


They are a full-service real estate firm - they invest, develop and manage commercial, residential, and retail real estate. They have 140 total employees and around 52 people in their corporate office here on Brookline Ave the balance is at the properties. They do large-scale projects very complex.

Sr. Property Accountant Responsibilities


  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages and wallpapers for properties
  • Review and approve invoices as part of a workflow within Nexus (AP software) at least twice a week.
  • Coordinate with JV Partners on property-related financial activity.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets.


Sr. Property Accountant Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance, CPA a plus
  • 5+ years of real estate accounting experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong organizational ability with high attention to detail.
  • Property Management/ERP software proficiency, preferably Yardi Voyager. Experience with paperless AP systems is a plus.
