Company Description
- Hands-on ownership of the company’s presence on social media. Act as a public voice for: owned social media channels, online review sites, and other external sites.
- Assist with social content planning, programming, publishing, tagging, and editorial calendar.
- Monitor emerging sites and communication channels; recommend new initiatives based on these observations and points of knowledge. Create new and creative ways to use social platforms and digital content to tell stories and build our audience.
- Provide ongoing reporting to track fan sentiment and the impact of day-to-day outbound content and community management. Track channel growth of social media brand pages and other pages as needed.
- Responsible for creating and implementing industry leading social publishing best practices with engagement benchmarks for all social channels.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Build relationships with internal theme park stakeholders and intellectual Property Partners to coordinate cross-promotion opportunities.
- Support and develop new ways to foster community through real-time engagement.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects
- Available to attend on-site events and various on property content shoots that may include early mornings, late evenings or weekends
- 3+ years of experience within marketing/social media
- Should be familiar with basic photo / video editing, altering, creating, and sharing
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required, majors in Marketing or Business Administration, English, or Communications preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Google Workspace
- Experience with all native social channels and experience with a range of 3rd-party social tools: Omniture, Sprinklr, etc.
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
- Basic experience with shooting and editing video is preferred
- High level of interest in technology and comfort level in working with technology-based tools and applications.
- Theme park enthusiast with knowledge of and passion for all things entertainment.
- Sound business and creative judgment and excellent ‘soft skills’ (for partnering with internal stakeholders and maintaining direct communications with guests) are required.
- Proven experience managing successful high-profile projects that involve multiple business functions, milestone tracking, and collaborations.
- Outstanding written communications skills and detail oriented.
- The ideal candidate for this position would have an understanding of guest services, marketing strategy, social media, creative insight, and analytics.
