Social Media Marketing Manager

*PART TIME ROLE - 25h per week

We are seeking a skilled Social Media Manager to join our team and contribute to our brand's social media presence and engagement. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling imagery, videos, and copy for our social channels, as well as developing a competitive social strategy and content launch strategy for new launches, campaigns, and markets. You will work closely with the content team and collaborate with various departments to ensure a cohesive brand message across all platforms.

Responsibilities:

1. Support the brand's social media efforts by increasing engagement, reach, and presence on social networks, events, and partner collaborations.
2. Create captivating and engaging imagery and video content for social media platforms.
3. Identify and explore opportunities to reach new audiences through existing or new social platforms.
4. Write creative briefs for internal teams and brand partners to ensure consistent messaging and visual identity.
5. Track and report on content performance, including audience growth and engagement metrics, on a weekly basis.
6. Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews to gather insights and inform content strategy.
7. Stay up-to-date with social media and digital technology trends, and provide regular reports on industry developments.
8. Collaborate cross-functionally with PR, E-commerce, and Marketing teams on brand projects as needed.
9. Compile content assets for Retail and E-commerce teams to support their initiatives.
10. Assist in shoot pre-production and provide on-set support during photo/video shoots.
11. Mentor and manage content interns as you progress in your role.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience creating content for a brand is required, preferably with knowledge of the alcohol industry.
2. Experience working with social media platforms and executing online social media campaigns.
3. Proficiency in Photoshop and Final Cut for creating and editing visual content.
4. Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Wordpress, Pinterest, YouTube, and Snapchat.
5. Strong creative thinking skills and the ability to brainstorm innovative ideas and strategies.
6. Ability to provide writing and social copy samples to showcase your skills.
7. Must be based in Austin or willing to relocate.
