LHH is seeking a Software Testing Engineer III for a client of ours. This is a fully remote position. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform both manual and automated testing
- Write and maintain test scripts for automated testing
- Ensures application performs according to requirements
- Work with business and IT teams to obtain final requirements approval; ensure that architecture and systems meet emerging needs and can be easily adapted to support new business requirements; create testing plans, training initiatives, and release schedules.
- Enhances requirements to explain use cases discovered during the development lifecycle
- Ability to design and implement a test automation ecosystem
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software application issues in production environments. Serve as a liaison and facilitator between all business units to assist in addressing and resolving IT software issues.
- Ability to spot functional and non-functional defects
Technical Skill Requirements:
- Basic understanding of front-end: HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Angular
- Back-end: Entity Framework, WebAPI (modern REST web services), Azure Service Bus, Azure App Services/ Websites
- Foundational: Windows Server, .NET framework, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Team Services, C#, Microsoft Azure, Git, Application Insights
- Ability to understand the data flows within the Software: SQL Server/SSIS, Mongo, Azure Storage
- C#, Selenium, SQL (writing and executing queries) in an Agile environment
- Basic understanding of how Identity/Authentication works: SSO, SAML, WIF, OpenId Connect, Azure Active Directory
- Ability to use tools such as Lighthouse, Jest or Karma to analyze frontend/website’s performance issues
- Experience working with various pieces of DevOps (build, test, deploy) is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Ability to self-organize and juggle competing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in computing, information technology, or a related field; or significant volume of experience as a software testing engineer/QA engineer.
- 3+ years of experience.
- Development experience on a team using an agile development process.
- Able to solve complex testing needs and drive overall solution quality.
Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote role – can work in any U.S. located time zone)
Assignment Type: Permanent / direct hire
Base Salary: $125k - $145k + annual bonus
