Akkodis is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst for a full time direct hire opportunity in the west suburbs of Cleveland. Qualified candidates will have 2+ years SQL and software quality assurance experience with a focus on backend database manual testing. The QA Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, executing, and maintaining software quality assurance standards and measures in the IT organization. In this role you will provide support for all areas of testing including functional, regression, performance, and end-to-end acceptance testing

Salary Range: $65-75K plus 100% employer paid benefits and a large annual bonus

Software Quality Assurance Analyst job responsibilities include:

• Carryout manual backend testing to ensure requirements are met
• Work with a cross-functional team to understand requirements, create comprehensive test plans, manage planning and scheduling of testing efforts, confirm product specifications, and communicate testing progress and relevant information to stakeholders and management.
• Support internal and external stakeholders with user acceptance testing and/or integration testing.
• Design, execute and maintain testing deliverables including testing approaches, test cases, test scripts and test result summaries utilizing industry best practices.
• Perform system and application testing to ensure proper functionality and compliance with standards.
• Maintain accurate testing documentation including regression test suites, defect logging and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Results driven and independent worker with ability to prioritize work activities with minimal guidance and coaching.
• Analytical orientation with creative problem-solving skills; enjoys unraveling ambiguous problems.
• Minimum 2 years of software quality assurance experience with a focus on backend database manual testing.
• Exhibits a high tolerance for rapid change and the ability to adapt and manage change effectively.
• Hands-on experience using SQL to write and execute complex queries.
• Strong interpersonal skills across all organizational levels. Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with, and through, others to move toward a common vision or goal.
• Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and quality requirements.
