Job Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate coverage of business and application functionality in the test cases for regression testing.
• Validate data and reports using SQL and other tools
• Accurately collect and report testing related metrics for all assigned tasks.
• Provide accurate and timely logging of issues in to the bug logging system.
• Learn new skills based on project requirements.
• Interact with internal users to obtain and convey concise problem information in a professional manner by phone, email or chat
• Perform Unit, Integration, Acceptance, Functional, System, Security and Back-end testing.
• Work on small QA projects autonomously and follow through to completion with minimal supervision.

Job Requirements

• Experience in cross browsers/cross platforms
• 2-4 years of proven manual software testing experience in a functional QA team performing White Box testing of Web Applications in GUI and Data Layer
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and deliver timely results
• Ability to apply critical thinking skills and a reason-based approach to problem solving
• Prior experience working/manipulating/parsing data files is preferred
• Bachelor's degree
• Have a knack for attention to detail
• Ability to manage a high volume of tasks and assignments
• Proven relational and communication skills
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Exceptional knowledge of writing test plans and test cases
