Paradigm is seeking an on-site Software Engineer to assist our client, a leader in the wood processing machinery manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be confident in programming C++ and presenting areas of improvement as they arise.

As a Software Engineer You Will

• Develop features from design through to completion
• Support legacy systems including troubleshooting and resolving issues
• Maintain a wide scope of the broader project when updating existing code
• Actively participate in code reviews
• Quality assurance and resolve defect tracking issues independently
• Gather development specifications to ensure their full range of responsibilities and project requirements are understood before beginning a task
• Follow prescribed coding standards and methodologies

Requirements Our Skills And Experience Wish List Includes

• Visual Studio experience
• B.S. in technology, computer science, or engineering
• Experience with a scripting language such as Python preferred
• Expert level in C++
• Experience in the forestry industry preferred
• 3+ years software development experience is required
• Web based programming preferred
• Git and MS SQL experience preferred
• Must possess a valid passport or be eligible to obtain one
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written
