Position Overview

The Software Engineer play a pivotal role in developing our industry-leading software solutions that for our entertainment clients.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, code, and debug robust and scalable software applications using industry best practices and coding standards.
• Develop, architect, code, and debug applications and APIs using .NET Core, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with quality assurance engineers to identify and fix bugs, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
• Hands-on development of applications throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Continuously improve the performance, reliability, and usability of existing software systems.
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to create efficient and robust solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements and translate them into software specifications.
• Optimize backend performance and scalability to handle high-volume traffic.
• Implement efficient data storage solutions, such as relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), and ensure data integrity and security.
• Develop and execute comprehensive unit tests and integration tests to validate the functionality and performance of software applications.

Key Qualifications

• Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable software solutions.
• Expertise in backend development using .NET Core, with a strong understanding of its core concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in C# and experience with other .NET technologies, such as ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core.
• Familiarity with designing and developing RESTful APIs and working with API frameworks.
• Aptitude for troubleshooting and debugging software applications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical and analytical mindset.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) for data storage and retrieval.

Special Work Conditions

• Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.

Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.

The compensation range for this position is:

$120,000—$150,000 USD
