The Software Engineer role will bring our world-class electronics and proprietary sensors to life through implementation of robust, reliable, efficient solutions. This role also will be relied upon during design phases for new products to ensure software needs are met by the system and hardware designs. Expected to invent creative methods to meet the unique and demanding software needs.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with “Sensors Group” to design software solutions

• Work with Product Managers, UX researchers, designers, and other stakeholders
• Collaborate with Production and Manufacturing Engineers to design software solutions
• Create and execute unit tests to verify functionality of modules
• Develop software integrations for H2scan products
• Participate in development planning and schedule creation
• Participate in code reviews across all product categories to increase cross-team awareness and ensure quality standards are met

Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering solutions throughout all phases of the software development life-cycle
• Must be able to articulate subject matter expertise in all of the minimum qualifications
• Preferred: Experience with Java/JavaScript/Node.js software development
• Experience in .NET (C#) software development
• Experience with Microsoft DevOps tools
• Preferred: Experience with C++ software development
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Awesome communication skills
• Preferred: Experience with collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Teams)
• At least three years of experience in software development or related fields
• Preferred: Experience collaborating closely with product, engineering, and UX teams
• Preferred: Experience mentoring developers
• Preferred: Experience with Python software development
