What you'll do

As a Software Design Engineer on the Integration Web Components team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining UI components (written in JavaScript) to support a variety of clients inside and outside Docusign. You will balance long term strategic planning with execution of projects in flight. You will help develop and support a high-visibility, high-impact product and influence its future design and implementation. You will collaborate closely with other DocuSign teams (PM, IX, UX, API, QA) to realize these goals.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering

Responsibility

• Provide developer support for customer issues
• Help improve our processes and champion best practices such as TDD, and code reviews
• Build and maintain UI components (written in JavaScript) to support a variety of teams
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, User Experience, Customer Support, Marketing, Sales, and other teams to create relevant software for partners and customers
• Mentor junior team members

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

• Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field or 5+ years of relevant work experience
• 5+ years development experience with JavaScript or other UI scripting language

Preferred

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience in developing reusable UI components
• Experience consuming SOAP and RESTful web service APIs
• Experience debugging high-priority production issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $130,500 - $208,050 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $123,700 - $184,275 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
