Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure

The ideal candidate has a desire to grow as a software engineer and improve healthcare for all along the way.

As a Software Engineer on the Core Infrastructure team, you will be a part of a team that is building the underlying platform infrastructure to support and run 1upHealth’s products and services, optimized for security and scale. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced engineers, building a product that will manage our gateway and API services.

In this role you will:

• Build features and services that meet technical and functional requirements
• Participate in code discussions, reviews, testing, and refactoring
• Collaborate with team members to improve our offerings
• Think creatively to solve problems
• Learn and grow as a software engineer

We are looking for people who have:

• 1+ year of engineering experience in a modern language (we work in Typescript)
• Working knowledge of databases (we use PostgreSQL)
• Understanding of building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders

You may also have:

• Hands-on experience working in a CI/CD environment
• Modern Cloud infrastructure experience (we use AWS)
• Experience working in an Agile environment
