Job Description

Push is currently seeking an experiencedSocial Media Strategistto assist our Social Media & Content team in driving organic social efforts forward. As a key contributor, you will be primarily responsible for tactical planning, ideation, and content development in support of national client social channels.What you bring:


Note: This is a full-time, five-monthcontractposition, with potential to extend.


  • An almostannoyingobsession with social media. You’ve got a pulse on what’s hot. You know the trends. You pre-downloaded Threads before it even came out. You follow Adam Mosseri on IG. You areINit—and you can look at brand-owned social content through the POV of the consumer.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record of successful strategy development and execution across organic social media channels.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a variety of teams(client, social, creatives, account managers, etc.)to ensure a mutual understanding of social expectations.(Experience working simultaneously with multiple brands or clients in an agency setting is preferred.)
  • The perfect synergy of creative and data-driven thinking.(You’re not strictly left or right-brained—you’re more brain ambiguous.)You are skilled at analyzing social results and identifying key learnings, and can effectively apply those learnings to fresh and innovative ideas.
  • A strong understanding of brand voice. You can seamlessly transition from creating ataco “thirst trap” postfor one client to anuplifting self-care videofor another (while understanding the larger business goals behind both).
  • A community-centric approach to social. You understand that giant green birds and brand roasting sessions are a major slay for some brands, but may not be the right approach for all of them. Fostering an enthusiastic community of brand loyalists is at the core of what you do—and you’re hella good at it.


Appreciated, but not required:

  • A network of freelance UGC and content creators to tap into as needed for content support.
  • Experience capturing and developing socially-native content (developing shotlists a plus).
