Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Engage with Mixhers TikTok community and work closely with our Social Media Manager to resolve customer inquiries
  • Assist in social calendar buildout, content creation, responding/engaging with our Mixhers audience on TikTok, and sourcing rights to repost content from external sources
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and ideas to support development of content strategy
  • Contribute to inventive ideas within brainstorms
  • Edit content within TikTok/Instagram or external editing apps and quickly provide editing assistance (audio, onscreen text, etc) that align with our brand style guide
  • Work closely with our Social Media Manager in ideation and execution of all social campaigns on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Youtube
  • Report on analytics and insights weekly
  • Conceptualize and contribute to TikTok and Instagram content creation and growth
  • Provide ongoing social media reporting updates to the broader digital marketing team
  • Help to maintain the monthly social media calendar based on objectives and strategies of our wider team and initiatives
  • Source potential influencers and creators for team to partner with
  • Support the 360 social plans for launches/activations


Requirements

  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and/or Illustrator
  • Bold and creative, out-of-the-box thinker who also has a strong attention to detail and understands the nuances of Tiktok content
  • Confidence in front of a camera
  • Experience using TikTok in a professional setting
  • Strong writing and editing skills in order to articulate the brand “voice” in a creative, compelling, and witty matter via commentary and community management
  • Concept, shoot and edit quickly & comfortably on the TikTok app and other editing softwares. Experience using CapCut a plus
  • Excellent design skills and good ‘eye for design’ to align content with brand guidelines
  • Experience monitoring, analyzing and reporting on KPIs, and using data to understand and adjust social media strategy
  • Thrives off of creating content that genuinely connects with audiences
  • Experience with Later preferred, but not required
  • Must be a go-getter, self-starter, positive, and outgoing person with an entrepreneurial mindset
