Summary/objective:
Angel Studios is seeking an experienced Digital Media Support Specialist to serve as our brand’s voice across multiple social media platforms for the Spanish speaking community.

  • Know your customer - it might be our viewers, investors, creators, or internal Angel Teams. Ensure you understand your customer and are providing what THEY need and not just what you want to build.

Essential functions

  • Quickly incorporate feedback and iterate to meet Angel Standards for each Brand.
  • Contribute to the team with social strategy and creative ideas for content.
  • Create eye-catching and conversion-driving copy and captions. (Copy examples may be requested.)
  • Write creative engaging copy that follows brand voice and outlined subjects.
  • Moderate comments across multiple brands; replying in the brand voice with salient information that will encourage engagement.
  • Collaborate with digital media team members in planning social media marketing campaigns.
  • Produce output at an aggressive pace without sacrificing quality.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in the English and Spanish language required. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Maintain a regular social media posting schedule for multiple clients.
  • Contribute to content calendar ideation.
  • Perform basic graphic design and video editing.
  • Understand design principles so that posts adhere to an outlined brand guide.
  • Must attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings.
  • Collaborate with our clients in creating social media content.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest social trends across all major platforms and find ways to apply to our various accounts.
  • Grow our audience and increase engagement.

  • Must participate in setting and achieving regularly scheduled and outlined objectives.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Organization and time management.
  • Entry-level video editing skills or better.
  • Needs to have a solid understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms, as well as how to stay up to date on them.
  • Consistently creative and persuasive in messaging with an eye to brand engagement
  • Competent in Adobe Products at an intermediate level
  • Detail-oriented perspective and able to pick up on overlooked details.
  • Resourceful and able to problem-solve and manage tasks with ambiguity.
  • Can take feedback to tasks and assignments positively and create better solutions.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to take individual ownership, execute with high energy, share context, insist on candor with positive intent.

Required education and experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years experience running social media on behalf of a company

Preferred education and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience running social media on behalf of a company

Work environment - When in the main office, expect a comfortable, air-conditioned work environment. Team members are issued their own desks, but the office is an open, shared space and can be fast-paced and occasionally noisy.
Physical demands - Must be able to either stand or sit at a desk for long periods of time.
Position type and expected hours of work - Regular full-time, 40 hours per week.
Travel required - Significant out-of-state travel not anticipated.
Work authorization - Must be authorized to work in the United States.
