Job Description

Social Media Specialist


The Social Media Coordinator will work hand-in-hand with the entire team at EverEffect, and primarily with the Social Media Director to ensure the scheduling and implementation of strategies across all client platforms (primarily Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).


This position works remotely and reports directly to the COO.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Some minor graphic design work (Canva/PicMonkey/basic photo editing).
  • Analytics & Reporting (pull and report data from SEMRush, Hootsuite, Direct social platforms, and Google Analytics - training provided, but experience is a plus. Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets required) Also, be able to write coherent and beneficial monthly summaries for clients to see progress and areas for improvement.
  • Ability to use personal smart-phones for some aspects of social media scheduling (laptop will be provided for the majority of work).
  • Ad creation (writing ad copy/implementing/running ads on social platforms, and managing ad budgets for each client).
  • Clear communication and writing skills.
  • Participate in team Zoom meetings to plan strategy, as well as go over what's working/not working for clients and set new monthly and yearly goals based on performance.
  • Working within multiple scheduling and measurement platforms. Experience with Hootsuite, SEMRush, Basecamp, Slack, & Google Analytics a plus, but not required.
  • Reputation Management for clients (responding to messages/comments/reviews).
  • Ability to work remotely and keep deadlines.
  • Adaptability! Social media is constantly changing and growing, so we need someone who is comfortable with their job description and role changing over time as the demands of social media change.
  • Writing copy for social posts (Majority of copy will be pulled from blog posts and other web-content, but some copy is original and will need to be grammatically correct, catchy, and have good CTA's. Client industries are varied as well, so be prepared to learn a little bit about a lot of areas!).


Position Details:


  • Base Salary: $50,000 - $55,000
