Job Description

TAIN Nutrition is an online nutrition coaching service for weight loss with certified nutrition professionals. We offer a comprehensive program of nutrition coaching services for your short and long-term goals. At TAIN, we address the biological, behavioral, and environmental factors associated with weight loss and regain. Our goal is to guide you through your weight loss journey and provide you with sound, evidence-based dietary advice.


We are seeking a dynamic and creative Part-Time Social Media Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to drive brand awareness, increase engagement, and generate leads. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, excellent communication skills, and a passion for health, wellness, and nutrition.


We're looking for a future Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN)!


Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute an effective social media strategy aligned with the company's goals and target audience.
  2. Work with the TAIN team (1 hour) to develop content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  3. Manage day-to-day social media activities, including scheduling and publishing posts, monitoring comments, and responding to inquiries.
  4. Monitor social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
  5. Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to the team.
  6. Engage with our online community, responding to comments, direct messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Identify and engage with influencers, bloggers, and potential brand ambassadors to expand our reach and build partnerships.
  8. Stay informed about relevant industry news, nutrition trends, and research to create timely and valuable content for our audience.
  9. Assist in the creation of visual assets, such as graphics, images, and videos, to enhance social media posts and campaigns.


Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in nutrition, health, wellness, or related degree. Ideally, a future Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN).
  2. Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  3. Strong understanding of nutrition, health, and wellness topics.
  4. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to create engaging content and adapt the tone and style for different platforms.
  6. Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  7. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  8. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  9. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.


Working Hours:

This is a part-time remote position requiring approximately ~5-10 hours per week. The schedule can be flexible but should include some availability during regular business hours to respond to inquiries and engage with the online community.
