Social Media & Editorial Manager

A leading fund manager are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager with an editorial background to manage their social media channels. This position will report into the Chief Marketing Officer and will be responsible for delivering the company's organic social media strategy and executing on their channels to drive awareness and engagement for the core businesses, events, and media products.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To create and publish engaging content for specialized financial audiences and optimize social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) for brand awareness and lead generation.
• Attend and cover company events, producing live social media feeds that boost online engagement and foster community.
• Build and maintain a social media calendar of planned upcoming activities across all products
• Manage the company's social media accounts, including daily monitoring and responding to user comments and messages.
• Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices and make recommendations for the company's social media strategy.
• Develop and execute social media strategies that align with the company brand and messaging.
• Analyze and report on social media metrics, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
• Work closely with the editorial team to create social media content that promotes journalist content and drives audience engagement.

The role requires:

• Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure and on time in a fast-paced environment
• 6+ years of relevant work experience within the financial services sector
• Proven success in developing social media campaigns to drive tangible results
• Strong analytical, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Creativity, positive energy, and a hands-on/proactive approach to all tasks
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage a complex workload

• Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or similar subject
• Expertise with social media platforms and their product suite, in particular LinkedIn and Twitter
