Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

The Social Media and Content Creation Coordinator at Swoon is responsible for developing and executing the brand's social media strategy, driving engagement and brand awareness. They curate engaging content for various social media platforms, conduct performance analysis, and maintain brand consistency. This role requires a creative and analytical mindset, a passion for social media, and excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.


Responsibilities:

Leadership

  • Develop, manage and execute Swoon’s brand and social strategy to best align with our image, voice and mission
  • Manage outsourced agencies as needed


Brand Messaging:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our target audience and key markets, and use this knowledge to inform the development of a brand strategy that resonates with our customers, differentiates us from competitors, and adheres to the nuances of each market
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure that our brand messaging, visual identity, and customer experience are consistent across all channels and touchpoints
  • Build and maintain a centralized, integrated and comprehensive brand calendar—driving alignment and prioritization of marketing initiatives across the organization and ensuring activations support enterprise business objectives


Social Media Management

  • Collaborate with Manager to build and nurture Swoons community through compelling storytelling, experiences, and content distributed across owned, earned, and paid channels
  • Manage and scale influencer strategy on Social Media, inclusive of organic and paid efforts, with a primary focus of driving brand awareness
  • Responsible for partner approvals, management and tracking of campaigns, post archiving and reporting & analysis on key performance indicators
  • Develop a scalable content strategy that is unique to each market (as we grow and launch new retail locations) while still maintaining one brand voice and vision
  • Continuously test new content formats and types
  • Drive growth of the platform with an emphasis on impressions through:
  • Managing a content calendar in line with marketing priorities and initiatives
  • Manage the planning of organic social media channels, creating the strategy and creative execution: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter
  • Developing best-in-class creative content inclusive of post creation and copy
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis
  • Stay informed about relevant local events, news, and trends to leverage for timely and relevant social media content

Content Creation:

  • Responsible for creating all Swoon content by utilizing resources and creative tools to develop engaging and high-quality continent


Requirements:

  • Social media OBSESSED
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience with Tiktok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and additional social media channels.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven; ability to glean insights & report results to management for strategic recommendations to grow our audience
  • 3-4 years+ in a social, content creation, or brand/integrated marketing role, ideally in a start-up environment.
  • Exceptional problem solving and collaboration skills
  • Extremely knowledgeable of the everchanging influencer and social media landscape with an ability to work against what’s new and upcoming. Have a pulse on emerging platforms and trends.
  • Has a positive attitude
  • A self-starter who can work independently but also take direction from multiple stakeholders


Additional Information:

NYC-based highly preferred with expectation to work at least 1 day/week in Midtown, NYC office, up to 3 days a week for events/team gatherings/etc
