About Us:

New Miami Girls is a thriving community represented by Revl Studios Corp and aimed at connecting individuals in the Miami area. On our fast-growing Instagram page, we create a unique blend of humor, local tips, and event promotions, attracting over 5K followers. Additionally, our Facebook group of 5K members serves as an inclusive platform for engaging conversations, mutual support, and shared experiences.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Social Media and Community Management Intern to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic community while gaining hands-on experience in social media and community management.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in creating and designing engaging, brand-consistent content for our Instagram posts, stories, and reels.

- Respond to Instagram DMs and comments in a timely and professional manner.

- Attend our events and shoots to help capture content for our social media.

- Assist in designing and sending out Bi-weekly newsletters to our community.

- Participate in brainstorming sessions for content creation and community initiatives.

- Assist in creating content for our Facebook group that ensures a respectful, engaging, and inclusive environment.

- Repurpose content / Edit content to post on TikTok..

- Report to team and provide updates on analytics.

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field.

- Previous experience in social media management or a similar role is a plus.

- Proficiency in Canva or similar graphic design software required.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain organized and proactive.

- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and creative problem-solver.

- Strong understanding of the latest social media trends and an interest in staying ahead of the curve.

Expected Commitment & Duration:

This is a remote (presence might be required during our events or in person team meetings), part-time position requiring approximately 15-20 hours of work per week. We're seeking someone who can commit to a minimum of three months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and the needs of our organization.
