Kingdom One is partnered with Hume Lake Christian Camp as they search for their new SoCal Camp Site Director.

Vision for this role:

Hume SoCal Camp Director performs a wide variety of Executive-level duties to manage the day-to-day operations, expansion, and financial well-being of Hume SoCal. Guarding the integrity of the Mission of Hume Lake Christian Camps and maintaining consistent policies, processes, and programming of the Ministry of HLCC, and attracting and keeping outstanding people to serve is the highest priority of the Camp Director.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Can manage multiple tasks, projects, and responsibilities in an unstructured environment with frequent interruptions.
• Has demonstrated experience of strong leadership skills.
• Is passionate about Culture and Organizational Health.
• Can use creative problem solving as well as independent judgment to resolve issues that arise.
• Is an excellent communicator electronically, in-person, and in writing.
• Is committed to the success of the organization through its people and teams.
• Has exceptional organizational, interpersonal, management, administrative, and computer skills.

Our ideal candidate:

• Will live onsite.
• Has a proven track record of being highly collaborative.
• Is a strong project manager who loves to serve people and is collaborative and loves to meet deadlines.
• Must have sound biblical knowledge that is consistent with the Statement of Belief of HLCC and be able to provide a high level of spiritual leadership to staff.
• Is looking for an amazingly unique community aspect in a small mountain town.
• A shepherd’s heart towards staff and guests.
• Has worked at least 10 years in a church, faith based ministry or christian camp.
• Understands that out-of-town and/or overnight travel will be required.
• Evidenced commitment to the Christian faith and a desire to share the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
