Job Description
Woodward West is a world-class destination, for both aspiring youth and professional athletes, with camps and programs that inspire and mentor kids through skateboarding, scooter, BMX, parkour and more. For over fifty years, Woodward's positive movement in youth culture has given kids greater self-confidence as they advance in athletics, build personal character, and become part of the action sports family. The Transportation Driver 's overall objective is to ensure the safe transport of campers, staff, and VIP guests. Additionally they will support all departments with seeking and supplying materials and operational needs.

Requirements:

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • Is creative. Can conceptualize ideas. Can think "outside the box". Has the ability to implement ideas.
  • Must have customer service experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to project manage and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time
  • Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team

BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all-season environment.
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records check
  • Summer Camp Season (June 4th - August 19th),Preferred 1-week commitment within Summer camp season
  • Must successfully-pass a background screening to ensure suitability of contact with minor children and the public, in accordance with Federal, state and local jurisdictions.
  • On-site work attendance at Woodward West
  • Safely drive a 15 passenger van
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
