Job Description
Giants Baseball Camps Is Now Hiring For An Assistant Site Director Who Will Be The EMT/Nurse Intern For The Following Dates


July 17-21


July 24-28


Giants Baseball & Softball Camps operate camps around the San Francisco Bay area to boys and girls ages 4-13. Giants Baseball & Softball Camps enrich the lives of children through exceptional instruction, character development, and a unique major league experience that creates lasting memories. Giants Baseball & Softball Camps features five action-packed days of individualized instruction, marquee competitions, and special events. Each day of Giants Camp features a personal character theme, teaching campers lessons on the diamond that they can utilize off the field to become more outstanding young men and women.


Responsibilities


  • Work with coaches and other staff members to help resolve camper conflicts and to create a positive and friendly environment for everyone involved with the camp
  • Ensure a safe camp environment for all staff, campers, and parents
  • Maintain detailed health records of campers
  • Communicate to parents and headquarters regarding injuries, illnesses, and incidents that occur at camp
  • Administer first-aid properly as needed to campers and staff
  • Work proactively with all camp staff to ensure that a preemptive approach is taken, in order to minimize injury and risk
  • Manage medications for campers with life-threatening allergies and other medical needs (ex. EpiPens) and ensure that each camp coach is aware of their campers who require extra attention
  • Assist with the production and organization of essential camp reports including attendance, employee timekeeping, and customer service-related records


Qualifications


  • Commit to working about eight hours a day
  • Be interested in gaining unique experience in the healthcare field
  • Be prepared to travel to all of our sites throughout the Bay Area with reliable transportation of your own
  • Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening
  • Be CPR/AED and First-Aid certified
