Slot Tech Pahrump Nugget, Gold Town & Lakeside (Pahrump, NV) Description:
Summary: Responsible for repair and maintenance of all slot machines related to equipment within the assigned optional operation. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and policies and procedures.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Diagnostic and investigation ability
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
• Responsible for all repair, maintenance, and general operating conditions of all slot machines throughout the various Pahrump casinos
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Skill in developing and maintaining guest relations
• Responsible for all floor changes
• Ability to understand questions and instructions from supervisors and co-workers
• Professional, groomed, uniformed with ability to speak with strangers
• Knowledge of gaming regulations
• Working knowledge and skills required for the position
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
• Commute to other properties during various driving conditions and traffic patterns, including rush hour
• Knowledge of slot and electronic equipment
• Maintains department preventative maintenance program
• Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, staff, and co-workers; pleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with and assisting people

Requirements
Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents
• Able to accurately perform basic math skills
• Able to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Ability to drive during various conditions and traffic patterns, including rush hour
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Proven experience providing high level of guest service
• Able to successfully work independently
• Ability to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Verify right to work in the United States
• Previous working knowledge of gaming machines and associated equipment preferred

• 10-year DMV driving record

Physical Requirements

• Constantly walk, bend, reach, twist, squat, and kneel
• Constant standing, distinguishing between shades of color, and use of vision and hearing
• Frequently lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs. at floor, knee, and waist levels
