Radial, the leader in omnichannel commerce technologies and operations has an exciting opening for a Site Director, Fulfillment Operations & Services. Radial’s omnichannel solutions use cutting-edge technology and analytics to optimize the e-commerce end to end processes reducing costs for our customer while enhancing the consumer experience.
Role Summary:
The Site Director will lead and direct site operations, including campus environment with multiple buildings, to achieve key goals and objective and the execution of a business operational plan. They will own fulfillment client P/Ls, provide financials (EBIT) and strive to deliver client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with senior management while providing updates and solutions on issues about business impact
- Drive safety, policy and procedure adherence
- Provide direction and support to direct reports. Coach to ensure career development, productivity and quality objectives are consistently achieved
- Drive high levels of client Satisfaction and Employee Engagement
- Engage with broader Radial team for support to site operation
- Maintain a working knowledge of all operational processes
- Drive, develop and lead continuous improvement initiatives and activities towards achieving yearly improvement goals
- Develop talent and site succession plans
- Grow and develop future talent
- Develop yearly budget and own site P/L
- Review and follow-up on results of production, efficiency, costs and inventory accuracy
- Adherence to all applicable Federal, State and Municipal safety and labor law
- Build a culture of continuous improvement through execution of Radial Operating Model
- Strong and positive interaction with new and existing clients
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive Operations and management experience required
- Experience managing a 3PL fulfillment operation highly preferred, ideally in ecommerce, direct to consumer, business to consumer (D2C/B2C)
- Experience in a fast paced, high volume, multi-client, unit-pick fulfillment center environment highly preferred
- Must be proactive, numbers driven and a good, anticipated planner
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems a plus (ideally, Manhattan WMOS and Pyramid WCS)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Management of a distribution facility with multi-level leadership and 200+ full-time associates with experience managing 600+ seasonal associates preferred.
- Experience leading culture improvements and/or transformation required
- Proficiency developing metrics planning (good working knowledge of spreadsheets
- Background and experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement methodology
- Sense of urgency to immediately identify and implement corrections
- High financial acumen with the ability to forecast and manage an annual budget while managing the operational processes within set guidelines
- Ability to lead, direct and coordinate all activities for operating and managing a multiclient fulfillment center
- Organizational agility and good influencing skills
- Ability to understand, organize and thrive in a highly variable volume operation, balancing safety, quality, delivery, and cost in both very low and very high-volume periods.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Ability to plan, direct and implement site operations to meet planned KPIs and SLAs
- Hands-on problem-solving skills
- Financial/Cost Management and ownership via operational budget management experience required
- Lean thinker, continuous improvement leader
Travel:
- This position is not remote.
- Travel required 5%
