PAY RATE: XX22.00/Hr
MAX BILL RATE: XX30.58/Hr
SHIFT: 7:00AM - 3:30PM (8 hours a day/40 hours per week)
NUMBER OF OPENINGS: 1
ONSITE OR REMOTE: On-Site
WORKSITE LOCATION: 4850 North Church Lane Suite B, Atlanta, GA, 30339
ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: 6 Months (Extension possible)

DEGREE REQUIRED: High School diploma or GED required, with a college degree preferred.

Job Summary
The Receiving Specialist is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording shipments containing raw material or products. You will be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders. As a receiving specialist you must have a great eye for detail and basic math skills. You must also have adequate physical strength to unload shipping s as well as clerical skills to update records and follow up with suppliers.
The goal is to ensure we receive the correct packages and stock them appropriately.
Job Duties
Unload and load trucks.
Operate palletizing equipment efficiently in a manner that assures high quality.
Perform general work around the facility.
Process damaged products according to company policy.
Cooperate with in-house production team to ensure timely processing of customer orders.
Other stores, and outside vendors follow prescribed procedures.
Additional responsibilities of this position include assisting in the creation of a culture of safety and health by performing work safely in accordance with all company safety procedures.
Receive and reconcile POs in Inventory System (JobScope).
Process receipts in FIFO manner.
Deliver product to inventory rack or point of use.
Assure all division purchase orders are issued on JobScope.
Ability to establish and follow processes.
Maintain control over constantly rotating inventory.
Operate a forklift.
Copy, scan, and file of paperwork.
Complete Warehousing & Inventory execution tasks as applicable.
Ensure incoming shipments are checked, received, labeled, and put away per procedure and that necessary documents are filed.
Required Skills
Experience with Microsoft Office and business applications.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills.
Education Requirements
High School diploma or GED required, with a college degree preferred.
Required Experience
Related work experience in warehouse, inventory, shipping activities.

Training Requirements
Safety training includes:
General Safety, Hazard Recognition, reporting, and resolution; personal protective equipment; Emergency Action Plan, Plant Safety Rules, Safe Lifting, and other programs as required.
Personal Protective Equipment Used On The Job
Safety Glasses, hearing protection, Safety Shoes and/or other personal protective equipment and required while performing certain tasks or visiting certain areas.
Observe HSE regulations, wear all required safety equipment, encourage safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or report them to the proper personnel.
