Job Description
Position Summary:
Performs duties related to incoming and outgoing shipments.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
  • Receives incoming product (materials, supplies, equipment) and compares actual delivered product (vendor catalog #, unit of
measure, quantity shipped) to packing slip information to purchase order to verify accuracy according to corporate policy.
  • Utilizes automated system to correctly receive product, with Purchase Order numbers.
  • Assists with reconciliation of invoice unit of measure discrepancies as needed.
  • Responsible for the delivery and documentation of package delivery to Orlando Health departments, accurately and expeditiously.
  • Inspects shipments for damage or defects.
  • Coordinates delivery of products including paperwork according to corporate policy.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
  • Moves product within staging/storage area and delivers throughout Orlando Health facilities.

  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Other Related Functions

  • Maintains established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications:
Education/Training
High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience
180 days experience in shipping and receiving and related procedures. Familiar with invoices, purchase orders, bills of lading, freight bills
