Job Description
Job Overview:
Shipping & Receiving Clerk - 2300 Picketville RD, Jacksonville, Florida, 32220
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for shipping, receiving, returns, carrier relations, order management, product management and customer service. Assumes prompt, accurate, and systematic handling of finished goods and raw materials orders while providing outstanding customer service

Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position working our 2-2-3 schedule (see details below for shifts we have open at this time). Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.

Nights- 6:03pm-6:30am
  • Week 2: Sunday Wednesday Thursday
  • Week 1: Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday
Compensation: This is a full-time hourly position. Paid on a weekly basis.

Position Responsibilities
  • Accurately handle all transactions which in many cases are legal documents
  • Check in and out truck drivers in a timely manner using SAP
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies and procedures of the Company and Standards established by Office of Safety and Health Administration
  • Assign drivers to doors to be loaded and unloaded
  • Execute new approaches/procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and services performed
  • Maintain the office areas to include filing and cleaning duties as required
  • Assign material handlers to load the trucks
  • Complete the bill of ladings for drivers and get the proper signatures
Requirements:
  • 1 year experience with an automated warehouse management systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Manugistics
  • 1 year working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred
  • 1 year logistics, or shipping and receiving experience
Total Rewards:
