Local Manufacturing Company / Shipping and ReceivingPay: $17-$25Hours: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, and alternating 4 hours on Saturday)
In order to be considered for this position, an employee must have been in their current position a minimum of one year, no active written warning and acceptable attendance with solid performance in the following areas: attitude, initiative, quality of work and the ability to diligently apply knowledge and skills.
DescriptionAccept, verify, and distribute incoming materials and parts and generate required documents. Identify and package all parts and materials and generate required documents for shipment to customers and/or suppliers. Qualifications

• Ability to learn multiple computer programs including MS Office and various shipping programs
• Intermediate level computer skills

Responsibilities

• Generate the required documentation required to maintain accountability of all items accepted or rejected from, or shipped to vendors
• Correct problems that may occur with shipments or with receiving in part and materials.
• Ensure all environment, health, and safety rules, requirements and procedures are adhered to
• Maintain inventory and order all supplies for the shipping and receiving Department
• Maintain existing shipping and receiving files and logs
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Package parts and materials in accordance with established procedures to ensure safe transportation to consignee
• Accurately input the information into the various computer systems used
• Load and unload all materials and parts as necessary
• Track parts going out of plant for work; get release numbers; create the transfer out; and, keep track of the routers. Same process for the parts being shipped on consignment.
• Accurately verify paperwork and container contents with actual part numbers and serial numbers received and annotate/correct discrepancies as they arise
• Maintain the staging area, accounting for all out-plant, scrap, and completed components

Applicant Requirements:

• Must have a CLEAN background.
• Pass a drug screen.
