The Shipping and Receiving Clerk I accurately maintains records, processes shipments, sorts packages, and accepts deliveries.

What You Will Be Doing

• Researches shipping/receiving issues and solve problems efficiently.
• Ensures products are packaged correctly and shipped accurately and in a timely manner from our facility to their destination.
• Considers ways to improve systems and propose procedural changes.
• Prepares accurate records of goods shipped and received.
• Follows all company safety policies and procedures and attends all safety trainings related to the job.
• Maintains manual and electronic records.
• Communicates with shipping companies, internal customers, and external customers effectively.
• Demonstrates commitment to Stratasys Core Values by leading, acting and behaving in a manner consistent with these values.
• Loads and unloads trucks and move materials within the warehouse.
• Posts weight and shipping charges: receives incoming shipments of merchandise; verifies correctness of shipments against bills of lading and invoices; keeps records of goods received; reports damaged goods and shortages; routes goods to proper departments; maintains inventory integrity through consistent use of procedures.
• Prepares internal documentation.

Physical/Environmental Requirements

• Travel requirement: N/A
• May be required to lift up to 40 lbs. and use pallet jack. May be forklift certified.
• Works in a shop type environment and may be regularly exposed to dust, fumes and noise. Specific work schedule is coordinated with direct supervisor.

Must Have For This Role

• Strong knowledge of FedEx, UPS, and ability to use Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office programs. Ability to learn new software.
• Ability to work well with others.
• High school education or equivalent
• Good reading, math, and communication skills.
