Shipping/Receiving Clerk Jobs

Duties

• Utilize RF scanner to ensure accurate picking and packing of items
• Verify and inspect incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliations
• Receive and process incoming shipments
• Accurately record received items into the inventory system
• Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and documentation
• Pick and pack orders for shipment using order picker, reach truck, pallet jack, or other equipment
• Organize and stock inventory in designated locations

Requirements

• Ability to operate order picker, reach truck, pallet jack, RF scanner, and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time.
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory control.
• Familiarity with MRP systems.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and packing.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and vendors.
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field preferred.
