Responsibilities:

• Experience with quality logistics techniques preferred.
• Loading shipments in transport vehicles and preparing and keeping records of goods shipped.
• Locates and moves materials and parts between multiple work areas of the facility using cart , hand truck or forklift to expedite processing of goods, according to pre-determined schedules and priorities and keeps related records.
• Perform manual tasks, which may include lifting 40 lbs or more and some working at heights.
• Ensure that goods are appropriately identified for routing to various departments and preparing and keeping records of goods received.
• Possess a solid knowledge of MS Office and personal computers Ensure Company and NASA procedures and policies are followed.
• Clerical/physical tasks in connection with shipping goods. Including verifying that orders are accurately filled, ensuring that shipments are properly packaged.
• Travel may be required.
• Verify the correctness of incoming shipments.

Required Education & Experience:

• NASA Forklift Operators and Safety Certificate.
• High School diploma and two years technical education or relevant experience or military training and two years’ experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with quality logistics techniques preferred.
