POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Servicing Oversight Analyst is responsible for the oversight of all non-default Servicing activities at two-subservicer and supporting related activities at CMG. This includes, but is not limited to, subservicer performing loan KPIs, issues management, escalation activities and analyzing missed timelines and failures. Strong documentation and root cause evaluation skills are required to be successfully. Excellent operational understanding of GSE, Agency, and Insurer mortgage loan guidelines is a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, includes the following responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Monitor subservicer performance on KPI, but not limited to:
- Special Loans (Variable Rate Mortgages)
- Escrow, Suspense and cash application timeliness
- Investor Accounting/Investor Reporting Timelines
- Inbound Customer Service Metrics
- Evaluations of missed notices including but not limited to
- Escrow
- Disclosure
- SCRA
- Lien Release
- Statements
- Rate-change
- RESPA
- Monitor Servicing Release or Boarding for compliance
- Analyze and report on subservicer performance, identifying risks that require intervention with CMG Senior Leaders.
- Coordinate with Oversight Relationship Team to appropriately escalation at subservicer(s)
- Translates subservicer systemic failures to recommend impactful solution.
- Other projects and assignments as required.
- Collaborates with Data and Technology, Business Risk, and subservicer Oversight Teams to creatively solve complex operational issues and build an efficient, compliant process.
- Evaluates loans outside of the applicable KPI to identify potential regulatory or compliance exposure and recommend mitigation strategies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business process engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Ability to work in a challenging environment for different subservicer.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
- Cross functional experience with multiple mortgage servicing business.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Microsoft Suite utilization.
- Proficient in mortgage servicing technology (MSP, LoanServ, Investor Reporting Systems etc.)
- 8+ years in mortgage loan servicing.
NOT REQUIRED BUT NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in remote work Collaboration Software.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct Reports: N/A
PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Standard office environment, equipment, and tasks, including work at a computer terminal. This position requires partial sitting and walking throughout the day. Employee must be open to work overtime to complete assigned tasks.
Base Compensation Information – This is a remote role that can be performed from within the United States. Residents of the states of CA & CO, and for New York City are excluded from this remote role at this time. Information regarding base wages provided upon request.
