Senior Sales Analyst Jobs

You will collect, analyze and interpret sales related data from multiple internal and external sources. Develop and build impactful and effective statistical analytics solutions, spreadsheets and visual models that monitor and predict sales results and trends. Evaluate business opportunities while focused on growing sales, improving performance, increasing profitability and enhancing the customer experience. Provide advanced sales analytics and accompany sales leaders in sales presentations as required.
This position is hybrid.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Develop, track, monitor and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and trends related to them.
• Collect data through company specific reports, systems, and tools. Analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
• Collaborates with finance, merchandising, and sales to develop, align and evaluate sales strategies.
• Work closely with business stakeholders across the enterprise and with customer teams to understand and deliver on their specific reporting needs.
• Research market demographics by evaluating competition, understanding the impact on McLane, and determining solutions to improve revenues while maintaining appropriate margins.
• Identify and summarize key data trends and issues by analyzing leading and lagging indicators.
• Make recommendations as needed to improve sales, customer relationships, and profitability.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field and 3 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area.
• Advanced experience with Access, Excel, Word, and Power Point is required.
• Highly organized and results oriented.
• Experience applying quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve business problems.
• Knowledge of the transportation industry preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with data visualization (Tableau, Power BI) and analytical (Alteryx) software
• Self-motivated to engage with cross-functional teams, handle multiple priorities, and possess a business consultancy mind-set.
• Project management experience is required.
• Ability to think both analytically and creatively.
