Ripple is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Manager to join our growing team. As the Senior QA Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.


The Opportunity:

Joining Ripple as a Senior QA Manager offers the opportunity to architect and implement a QA process, potentially build a talented team, and play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that drive innovation and efficiency in the maritime sector. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a strategic and comprehensive QA program.
  2. Develop and implement automated, unit and regression testing for each level of the company's technology stack.
  3. Establish and enforce quality standards, procedures, and guidelines across all stages of the SDLC.
  4. Define and maintain the QA metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the QA program.
  5. Bridge the gap between DevOps and QA by concisely defining and memorializing the PBI/Task creation/completion process and developer expectations, including mandating acceptance criteria, testing strategies as a fore thought, and related concepts.
  6. Conduct regular reviews of software requirements, design documents, and functional specifications to identify potential quality gaps and ensure proper test coverage.
  7. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance, and drive the adoption of innovative QA techniques and tools.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience (at least 4 years) in quality assurance, with a focus on software testing and test management.
  2. Experience with DevOps processes, typically using an Agile methodology
  3. Experience in monitoring and interpreting real-time Application Insights results
  4. Previous experience with Azure and Microsoft technologies that relate to QA, including Azure DevOps.
  5. Ability to leverage technologies like Microsoft DevBox, Azure DevTest, and related components, or other third-party applications you may already be familiar with.
  6. Basic understanding of automated deployment and release pipelines configured in Azure DevOp.
  7. Experience with automated, manual, integration and end-to-end/system testing is required.
  8. Strong knowledge of software quality assurance principles, methodologies, and processes.
  9. Bachelor's degree.
  10. Familiarity with the maritime industry or related software solutions is a plus.
