Job Description

Salary Range: $137,900-206,900 based on experience

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for developing and motivating a successful team across all operational departments to achieve a common set of goals. This position will drive activities to achieve revenue targets and improve efficiencies while ensuring compliance, safety, and quality objectives are met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Oversee day-to-day Operations for the following functional areas: Customer Care, Receiving, Shipping, Inventory Planning, Manufacturing, and Purchasing.
  • Performs additional duties as directed by upper-level management personnel.
  • Assists with root cause analysis investigations for Operations related issues.
  • Develop Operational and continuous improvement goals. Present goals and progress to all levels of the organization, as necessary.
  • Active participant in meetings; represents Operations purview and requirements.
  • Coordinates and tracks progress of projects related to capital expenditures and reviews purchases and invoices generated by your teams.
  • Leads Operations participation in the success of new product development.
  • Develops capital expenditure proposals and implementation of annual operating budget for areas of focus.
  • Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Handbook and follows guidelines regarding safety as outlined in the AWAIR, Chemical Hygiene and Exposure Control manuals in accordance with the job.
  • Collaborate with support teams from all functional areas.
  • Lead and drive productivity and efficiency improvements.
  • Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.

Education and Experience:

This position requires a BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience and training; including management of people. Attention to detail, highly organized, and data analysis skills are required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required. Computer entry and/or typing skills are desirable. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
