About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing best in class compliance processes and operations for Shoplooks. This role is critical to ensuring that the Shoplooks affiliate programs are compliant with affiliate network and advertiser requirements so that the account teams can focus on expanding our network of advertisers and driving revenue growth.
What you’ll do:
·Lead and own all compliance activities and reporting for Shoplooks advertisers and networks.
·Establish Compliance team processes and procedures, identify tools/solutions to support compliance team and meet compliance requirements.
·Create, maintain, and disseminate compliance rules and guidelines to ensure 100% compliance.
·Educate internal teams responsible for property traffic on expectations and rules regarding affiliate compliance and risks if rules are not followed as outlined. Collaborate with operations and pub dev team to understand their challenges and how to address them in a compliant manner.
·Provide weekly compliance reports to Leadership and Partnerships teams to make them aware of activity and actions taken.
·Build strong working relationships with compliance directors and managers at networks to understand any changes, risks, and maintain general vigilance across compliance matters.
·Contribute to quarterly Leadership meetings by sharing Compliance team wins/challenges, updates, compliance-related industry trends and network updates.
·Enforce compliance rules with internal teams and publisher/influencer partners to ensure 100% compliance with advertisers and networks. Apply knowledge of the latest affiliate compliance-related trends and best practices in daily work
·Train, guide, and mentor new Compliance team members, providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor's Degree or commensurate work experience
·4+ years' experience in affiliate marketing, partnership management, compliance, or related roles. Proficiency in affiliate marketing platforms, tracking tools, and analytics.
·Strong attention to detail with a passion for precision and accuracy. Driven to maintain excellent compliance and prevent any compliance reports from networks or advertisers.
·Expert level knowledge of the types of compliance violations that are common and emerging in the affiliate space and firm understanding of compliance requirements and standards for affiliate industry and affiliate networks.
·Experience with industry recognized compliance tools (e.g. BrandVerity, TheSearchMonitor) to review, uncover, investigate, and address non-compliant activity
·Strong negotiation, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills. Experience establishing, building, and maintaining productive internal and external relationships.
·Analytical mindset with the ability to digest data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
·Successfully works both independently and collaboratively.
·Commitment to working collaboratively with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
·Experience in training, guiding, and/or mentoring team members.
·Open to flexible work hours as needed to collaborate effectively with team members across the globe in different time zones (e.g., China)
·Willingness to travel to industry events and conferences as required.
·Proficient knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
