Senior Logistics SpecialistKBR’s Defense Systems Engineering Business Unit (DSE BU) provides full spectrum engineering and technical solutions across the life cycle of DoD military systems on land, at sea, in the air and in space. Areas of expertise include acquisition, systems engineering and integration, AI/big data applications, cyber, R&D, test, and evaluation, C4ISR and sustainment engineering.

Job Summary: Support implementation, operation, and maintenance of DoD unclassified and classified applications for projects sponsored by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and conducted by Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic, Charleston SC. Prepare logistics support documentation and source data, such as logistics operational management/user documents, integrated logistics support plans, user logistics support summaries, post-production support plans, and logistics implementation plans. Apply logistics principles and methods to specialized logistics solutions. Perform logistics inventories, related logistics functions, and logistics database management functions. Interface with external and internal team contractors and subcontractors in project execution.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Engineering discipline. Non-technical BA or BS degree accepted if the candidate has significant technical project work experience.
- Clearance: Active DoD SECRET security clearance.
- Experience successfully implementing logistics discipline in DoD programs or projects, including the gathering and analysis of information on complex product plans and project objectives, providing tracking and status reports, and support for ensuring distribution and delivery commitments.
- Experience implementing logistics plans, databases, and detailed documentation supporting the fielding of new complex information systems or major modifications.
- Experience: Minimum of twelve years of relevant technical experience applying principles, methods, and knowledge of specific functional areas of expertise to specific task order requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant Science or Engineering discipline.
- Experience successfully contributing to complex DoD, Navy, NIWC and/or DARPA Science and Technology (S&T) projects.
