Production and Logistics Planner responsibilities will include:

• Maintain visibility of overdue jobs; analyze and develop recovery schedules.
• Make changes and improvements to schedules for improving throughput and on time delivery.
• Convert customer requirements to achievable manufacturing schedule.
• Performs checks and audits of scheduling rules while interacting with other departments.
• Communicates and coordinates with Outplant suppliers and vendors.
• Communicates schedules to manufacturing teams.
• Establishes shipping plan and coordinates execution of the plan.
• Effective communication with manufacturing teams, engineering, sales, and customers.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Business, Marketing, or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Minimum 3 years of Manufacturing or Production Control experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid base knowledge of manufacturing process and flow of material.
• Strong quantitative analysis skills, including the use of Microsoft Excel.
• APICS Certification is preferred
• Self-starter and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to develop and use planning strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates competent use of automated order system.
