About This Team
The Outbound Logistics Strategy & Optimization team is responsible for developing and executing the long-term logistics strategy and optimizing the logistics network. The team works closely with the Logistics Operations team, a diverse group of internal stakeholders and our logistics vendors to provide best-in-class logistics solutions. Reporting to the Logistics Optimization Manager, the Outbound Logistics Vendor Analyst will be responsible for managing lululemon’s vendor management process, support executing vendor sourcing activities and work closely with the team on other logistics optimization activities.
a day in the life
  • Acts as the subject matter expert when it comes to vendor KPIs related to outbound shipping
  • Work with internal partners and vendors to identify actions to improve our vendor performance. Ensure actions are implemented successfully
  • Manage Lululemon’s retail shipping optimization program
  • Maintain vendor contracts & renewal schedule
  • Regularly review KPIs to ensure metrics meet Lulu standards; in partnership with our analytics team deep dive into data to identify root cause of exceptions, coordinate with vendors to find solutions
  • Support organizing and running vendor sourcing & optimization activities such as RFPs
  • Support the Logistics Optimization team in optimization projects
  • Support lululemon’s outbound logistics vendor mgmt. process
  • Distribute and coordinate data/information across internal & external partners. Data may be communicated in verbal, written, or PowerPoint form
  • Partner with data analytics members of the team to ensure all our vendor analytics needs are met
  • Support outbound volume forecasts for carriers & 3PL partners
Qualifications
  • A keen eye for details and a drive to resolve issues effectively
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, proficiency with PowerBI a plus
  • Experience in vendor mgmt. and sourcing is a plus
  • Must be comfortable working in a highly quantitative & data focused environment
  • Capable of communicating complex logistics concepts & ideas across a varied audience
  • Self-starter approach to work independently, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain field. Experience focused on retail fulfillment is desired.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint
