The Senior Learning & Development Manager will work to design, develop, and implement effective employee training to produce a more efficient and effective workforce. Administers, organizes and conducts training and educational programs in connection with the Property Management Training Program and promotional development. Conducts programs in connection with on-the-job training including technical training and management employee orientation.
- Maintains current knowledge of new training techniques and developments.
- Conducts all training seminars, conferences, and programs for all property staff
- Ability to design and implement effective training.
- Assists staff with organization and creation of company training programs by researching training needs, planning courses, organizing all materials, and conducting the actual seminars.
- Coordinates and conducts needs analyses in various forms; analyzes information to help identify and define present and future training needs.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Collaborates with Director of Training concerning budget preparation and implementation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
- Oversees, evaluates, and edits existing and proposed programs; recommends changes when appropriate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs through development and training surveys.
- Ability to perform needs assessments and to analyze areas of strength and weakness.
- Creates materials for new training programs or seminars.
- Ability to design and implement effective training.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
- At least seven years of related experience in designing, delivering, and/or consulting on training preferred.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facility to conduct needs analysis.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
