Summary
The Sr. Inventory Analyst will manage the day-to-day global operations and processes of company inventory. He/she is responsible in ensuring security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review.
He/she will develop, improve, and execute inventory control processes that are compliant to SOX requirements, and will participate in audits. He/she will oversee physical inventories and cycle count activities and will support global operations to achieve count accuracy.
The ideal candidate will drive initiatives to right size the inventory globally and to minimize aging and excess materials. Manage scrapping and excess sales process through strong partnership with Finance, Business Units, Service, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams. Analyze inventory for financial reserves and will drive risk management and reduction initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day global operations and processes of company inventory. Responsible in ensuring security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review.
  • Lead monthly/quarterly forum with the subsidiaries to mitigate risks, reduces excess and drives standardization across sites.
  • Responsible in analyzing the global inventory data.
  • Organize daily/weekly/monthly reports and will provide key and actionable updates to Leadership Team to support data-driven decisions and strategies.
  • Oversee physical inventories and cycle count activities and support global operations to achieve count accuracy.
  • Lead optimization, automation and standardization of inventory reports and processes globally.
  • Drive data quality, transparency, consistency, and increased visibility on over-all health of the global inventory.
  • Manage the global inventory forecasting process for monthly and quarterly projections that supports accuracy of the financial planning process.
  • Drive data quality, transparency, consistency, improved productivity, and increased visibility on over-all health of the global inventory.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the subsidiaries globally on Operations and Inventory matters.
  • Analyze the global inventory data and organize daily/weekly/monthly reports. Provide key and actionable updates to Leadership Team to support data-driven decisions and strategies.

Qualifications
    • Solid working knowledge of Excel, Power Point, and business analytical tools.
  • Good negotiation skills with customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple Inventory locations globally.
  • Excellent analytical abilities to grasp the key points from complicated details.
  • Must have a good understanding of different systems and processes utilized in the reconciliation and analysis of inventory.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have the ability to effectively resolve problems and to prioritize work schedules.
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel, Power Point, and business analytical tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must possess a strong understanding of the entire fulfillment process. Process flows, inventories, variances and counting techniques.
Expected base pay range $109k - $130k annualized.
