Job Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Senior Financial Analyst will support the Finance department's activities in forecasting and budgeting. The Sr. Analyst will also provide financial and operational reports and analysis to the company's regional management and executive team with the objective of presenting the company's key performance components and trends to support decision-making.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Support other members of Finance department in the annual budgeting process and the potential development of new financial budgeting and forecasting modules to streamline process.
  • Support Chief Operating Officer by performing analysis of potential new markets or acquisition opportunities.
  • Develop financial models and business cases to support acquisition and de novo market recommendations.
  • Analyze and report expenses at a detailed level for the organization. Reporting MoM, QoQ, YoY expenses versus budget.
  • Perform analysis of financial and operating trends, results, key variances, performance drivers to make recommendations for actions.
  • Define and establish key field level financial and operational benchmarks and lead/support the development and production of new tools to assess performance against benchmarks with key performance metrics.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Work with the Sr. Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to develop and refine periodic mid-year and multi-year forecasts to assess impact of current activities and initiatives and establish long-term corporate goals.
  • Develop recommendations to control and reduce expenses within the organization.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented

  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to work under deadlines
  • Able to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions
  • Self-motivated - ability to take initiative on projects and work with multiple company constituents to achieve results

Education and Experience:
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, including accounting and financial statement analysis and financial modeling experience
  • Experience in Business Intelligence software preferred
  • Healthcare industry experience beneficial but not required
  • Working with Private Equity-backed companies beneficial but not required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA desirable
  • Software skills: Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint essential; experience in Workday, Oracle/NetSuite, Great Plains, Power BI, or other financial accounting software

Physical Requirements :
  • Ability to travel 10% of time; may fluctuate based on business needs
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
