Job Description

Job Overview

Leads, directs and coordinates the field teams within Patient Support Services (PSS) client delivery organization. Directs the strategy, growth, and profitability of the field teams. Field teams include nursing, adherence and other field team client delivery teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develops long-range plans for continuous improvement in client deliverables of the field teams based on in depth knowledge of programs and building relationships with client partners.
  • Meets or exceeds assigned revenue and profit targets by offering and delivering insightful, value-added solutions that address complex client needs. Attends client meetings virtually and in person to include business review and other strategic conversations.
  • Interacts regularly with internal and external senior executives to include regular meetings with the leader of PSS client delivery.
  • Ensures that field team is fully staffed, trained and deployed to maximize account coverage.
  • Engages with leaders of field teams to develop and exceed delivery of client KPI’s and program operations and value.
  • Develops budget and reviews analyses of activities, costs, quality, operations, and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives. Builds, develops and provides overall leadership for the field teams group.
  • Confers with Sales and leadership to review achievements and discuss required changes in sales goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
  • Based on in-depth knowledge of industry and client issues, identifies new revenue opportunities at existing and potential clients.

Experience and Educational Requirements

  • Must have experience preparing data in Excel/Microsoft suite, professional presentation content and presenting such data and content to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Business acumen (knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including the applications for IQVIA data).
  • Change management/process analysis skills (e.g., Business Process Reengineering).
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Project management experience in overseeing or contributing in complex, multi-discipline projects.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Managerial skills, including a strong focus on team building.
  • Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple job areas, the ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches.
  • Knowledge of IQVIA databases and report creation process.
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to train/present and deal tactfully with clients.
