Summary
Work with a variety of product, service and enablement teams spanning Solution Architecture, Quality Assurance, Technology Operations, Technology Security and Technology Support. Promotes and supports Agile principles, values and mindset across the enterprise. Drives Product, Shared Services and Enablement Delivery in support of the IT Operating Model. Coaches teams practicing Scrum, Kanban and various elements of scaling frameworks, to enable optimal performance and delivery of high value outcomes. Utilizes advanced coaching techniques to mature teams and individuals in their practice of Agile. Enables and supports the organizational cultural changes needed for long-term Agile success.
Essential Functions:
  • Coaches and mentors Scrum Masters to deepen their knowledge and to mature their skills, techniques and competences
  • Defines product-based business capabilities and maps cross functional teams to ensure value-based delivery is predictable and occurs at regular intervals
  • Partners with IT and business leadership to establish new Product and Shared Services delivery teams
  • Initiates scaling techniques and events, including Scrum of Scrums, cross team collaboration, large group planning, and dependency mapping
  • Coaches and mentors Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Leaders and Teams in their execution and maturity of frameworks, roles and meaningful metrics
  • Utilizes and enables advanced techniques for facilitation, collaboration, conflict resolution and problem solving to influence a cultural shift to continuous learning and continuous improvement
  • Recommends and implements frameworks in support of each team’s process and workflow, and frequently inspects and adapts to enable team’s continuous improvement
  • Collaborates with leadership to establish and support Agile Center for Enablement standards and practices and ensures compliance within the organization
Education & Experience:
  • Ten years of experience in IT Product Delivery or Agile Delivery, including six years of experience as an Agile Practitioner (Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Development/Service Delivery Team Member) or related experience
  • Experience with scaling frameworks, such as LeSS or Srum@Scale
  • Two years of experience coaching as a primary responsibility within an Agile environment
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Scrum Professional, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent knowledge of technology practices related to software development life cycle, IT shared services, QA, DevOps
  • Ability to resolve conflict, motivate and influence team members and communicate effectively
  • Exceptional interpersonal and servant leadership skills
  • Excellent ability to build and deliver training and workshops to all levels and sizes of group
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills, including the ability to coach upward
  • Advanced understanding of Agile and Lean values, principles, practices and mindset
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban frameworks
  • Strong skills with Atlassian stack (Jira), MS Teams and/or similar collaboration tool(s)
