Job Summary:

  • Build a high-performance global enterprise systems organization capable of deploying ERP to CSI’s Services Businesses, Europe and AsiaPac with limited support from integration partners.
  • Deliver the portfolio of ERP programs and projects, both strategic and tactical.
  • Lead the transformation of CSI’s enterprise systems capabilities in support of our “Accelerating What’s Possible” corporate strategy and operating objectives.
  • Drive the retirement of CSI’s 25+ legacy ERPs
  • Own the day-to-day support of enterprise systems production capabilities ensuring SLA’s and cost-effective operations.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • Develop and lead the enterprise systems strategy, roadmap, priorities and investments for the organization.
  • Partner with IT Leadership peers to deliver the Product Systems (PLM/QMS/RIMS), Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Data & Analytics (DNA) and EMR Integration programs.
  • Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with leading third-party advisory, research, implementation and support consultancies and technology firms to improve the quality of our strategies and architectures, foster innovation and create speed to value.
  • Lead the successful delivery of enterprise systems programs, projects, enhancements, services, and support with particular emphasis on the delivery of ERP (CONNECT)
  • Build a global, high-performance enterprise systems organization that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
  • Bring to bear real-world experience, expertise, know-how and savvy to advance the data maturity of the organization while making real business impact along the journey.
  • Establish self as the enterprise systems thought leader for CSI but demonstrating experience, competency, capability and credibility at the senior levels of the organization and down.
  • Serve as a senior leader in the CSI Information Technology organization helping to set and execute the overall CSI technology transformation strategy and long-range strategic plan (LRSP).


Travel:

  • 30 to 40% travel per month as business needs dictate.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Expertise in Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes and best practices.
  • Expertise in ERP, Commercial, Patient and Data enterprise, solution and integration architectures.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure system and data architectures, technologies, and services.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with business partners at all levels of the organization to understand their enterprise systems needs and deliver, in an agile fashion, innovative solutions.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage multi-year capital plans, annual operating budgets and program/project budgets.
  • Self-starter that works effectively remotely and independently.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, global IT organization with some shared services components.
  • Expertise ERP configuration and functionality in support of the above business processes.
  • Proven ability to work effectively at all levels of business and information technology organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage all financial and commercial aspects of a moderate sized, global IT team with extensive business relationships with third-party partners.
  • Track record of building and maintaining strategic partnerships with leading enterprise systems third-party organizations to develop strategy and architectures and deliver data capabilities to the organization.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative fashion with business executives, IT leaders and through third-party partners to raise the collective enterprise systems and data capabilities, maturity and culture of the organization.
  • Proven ability to step into highly visible leadership roles, take ownership of the space, set direction, align the team and make immediate impact.
  • Strong bias toward action and delivering measurable results.

Experience:

  • Life sciences and manufacturing industries experience is preferred.
  • Experience setting enterprise systems strategies and roadmaps, developing enterprise data architectures, evaluating, and selecting data technologies.
  • 20+ years experience in application, data and other information technology roles with increasing responsibilities and impact.
  • 5+ years experience architecting, implementing, and operating cloud-based enterprise systems capabilities.
  • 10+ years direct, hands-on experience implementing leading ERPs such as D365, SAP or Oracle.
  • 5+ years experience implementing commercial systems such as CRM, eCommerce, Customer Portals, etc.
  • Experience building and leading enterprise systems organizations with a global footprint.
  • Consulting experience is a plus.
  • 10+ years experience leading or managing enterprise systems organizations.
  • Experience working within the context of data privacy regulations (e.g. HIPAA, GDPR) is a differentiator.
  • 15+ years direct, hands-on work experience in enterprise systems roles.

Education:

  • Master’s degree in related field is desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information technology, engineering or other science discipline is required.
