How You Will Contribute

We are looking for an experienced AI engineer that wants to join our growing company. You will be responsible for developing AI models and data pipelines for remote sensing applications to analyze duckweed growth, composition, and morphology and then use this information to optimize cultivation operations.

What You Will Work On

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to extract meaningful insights and foster data-driven decision making
• Implement cutting-edge AI models and data pipelines for remote sensing applications in agriculture
• Leverage deep domain knowledge in remote sensing applications in agriculture to drive innovation
• Manage data acquisition, cleaning, and feature engineering
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate AI models into software solutions

What You Will Bring to Plantible

• Well-organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality results
• Prior experience in management and team leadership roles
• Track record of demonstrating real-world impact using scientific research in the field of agriculture remote sensing
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and practices for integrating AI models into software solutions
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach
• Deep understanding of remote sensing applications in agriculture, including data sources, trends, and business requirements
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly communicate complex scientific concepts to cross-functional teams
• Expertise in designing and implementing AI models and data pipelines for remote sensing applications in agriculture
