Data Scientist Jobs

As the Data Scientist, you will apply your advanced analytics, data wrangling, and visualization skills to find solutions within our sales and marketing teams. You'll partner with fellow data scientists and data engineers to help them better understand their data and create impactful insights. You will report to the Head of Data Science and Analytics, and be located in Santa Monica, California. This is a great opportunity to apply data science to solve big problems that have a big impact on the business. All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

DATA SCIENCE

Partner with other data scientists to deliver advanced analytics projects from brainstorming through model delivery. Partner with our sales and marketing professionals to meet their needs. Identify and gather data from both internal and external sources, assess data quality, complete exploratory analysis, and structure data for the task. Develop advanced analytic approaches to find solutions and build models to solve business problems. Communicate approaches to partners in easy-to-understand terms, summarizing important findings and outcomes that allow us to take action. Support the development and facilitation of analytics training programs, instilling a data-supported mindset.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

• Experience with statistics, SQL, R (and popular packages), Python, and popular visualization tools such as Tableau
• 1+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist in a professional or research context
• Master's degree in mathematics, statistics or computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
• Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage

The base salary range for this position is $128,250 to $141,750 + cash incentives

Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
