Responsibilities:

• Utilize Python and Hive for data processing, scripting, and manipulation tasks.
• Optimize database performance and storage solutions for handling large volumes of data efficiently.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for efficient data collection and processing.
• Implement data security and privacy measures to comply with industry regulations and best practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and database systems to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and reliable data availability for analytics, reporting, and data visualization.
• Create and maintain data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau for insightful data exploration and compelling reports, with focus on Telco related data and statistics

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud-based data services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in time series analysis to model and forecast temporal data for various applications.
• Familiarity with data exploration techniques to discover valuable patterns in complex data.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related engineering field.
• Experience in applying supervised and unsupervised learning techniques and anomaly detection methods to identify and address irregular patterns.
• Familiarity with Telco industry, key performance indicators (KPIs), and insights would be a big plus.
• Experience in ETL principles and tools.
• 3+ yrs of proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in SQL, Tableau, Python, and Hive.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and optimization techniques.
