Senior Business Program Manager


One of The Sage Group’s clients, an international banking and financial services company headquartered in San Francisco, California, is looking for a Sr Business Program Manager, experienced with product, design, and engineering teams in an agile environment in Tech, Fintech, or Financial Services.


Act as a Business Execution advisor to leadership to drive performance, initiatives, and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management. Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large scale solutions. Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational. Lead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans. Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership. Provide direction to a cross functional team using business expertise.


This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and client’s compliance policies related to these requirements. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.


Leads and directs discovery research, hypothesis testing, strategy development, and consensus building across various initiatives—including qualitative and quantitative research, competitive landscape analysis, synthesizing and analyzing research findings, and developing strategic hypotheses. Inspires and builds consensus around strategic priorities and opportunity areas.


In this role, you will:


  • Support strategic planning and storytelling across the team.
  • Lead key initiatives to accelerate and streamline our digital transformation.
  • Support the documentation and continuous improvement of our operating model, including integration with enterprise policies and procedures.


Required Qualifications:


  • 5+ years working with product, design, and engineering teams in an agile environment in Tech, Fintech, or Financial Services
  • Experience effectively influencing and partnering with key stakeholders
  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent
  • Experience leading and executing transformational programs
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
  • Experience leading a digital transformation initiative
  • 2+ years working in a digital-native organization


Duration: 1 year to start

Location: Charlotte, NC, hybrid 3 days per week

Compensation: $80-88 per hour DOE
