Senior Auditor - Anti-Money Laundering(Hybrid)

Responsibilities

The Citi Internal Audit department is looking for an experienced Senior Auditor to join our dynamically expanding Anti-Money Laundering Audit Team in Tampa, Florida!

Our new colleague will be responsible for performing moderately complex audits and assessments of Citi’s risk and control environments.

As a Senior Auditor-AML you will contribute to the scoping and execution of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Consent Order Validation coverage in accordance with established Internal Audit (IA) methodology and professional auditing standards, legal entity governance reporting, and other issue validation audits.

As a Senior Auditor You will:

• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Appropriately assess AML/Sanctions risks when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Monitor, assess, and recommend solutions to emerging risks
• Contribute to the development of audit processes improvements, including the development of automated routines
• Perform moderately complex AML/Sanctions audits and discussing practical solutions
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Complete assigned AML/Sanctions audits within budgeted timeframes, and budgeted costs
• Apply internal audit standards, policies, and regulations to provide timely audit assurance and influence audit scope
• Acts as AML/Sanctions SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Develop effective line management relationships to ensure strong understanding of the business

Key skills and qualifications:

• Effective influencing and relationship management skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Prior Audit, Compliance Testing, AML/Sanctions Operations/Compliance, Risk and Controls experience preferred
• Application of business process analysis techniques or a similar analytical discipline highly desirable
• 3-6 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
• Subject matter expertise regarding audit technology’s application
• Effective time management skills

Education and Certifications:

• ACAMS, Audit-related certifications preferred
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
